Copyright Disclaimer

I have every intention of abiding by all copyright laws on my website. I specifically want to comment on the inclusion of the following images:

-- On the front page I display a scan of the front page of the October 29, 2004, edition of the Village Voice. Since this scan has been widely circulated around the Internet, I consider it a form of fair use to include a copy here. I assume that the Village Voice would not mind. If, however, I am mistaken in my assumption, I would ask the Village Voice to contact me, and I will remove the image immediately. 

-- On the front page of the website I have posted the Hello Kitty Storm Trooper picture with some captions. The storm trooper version of Hello Kitty has been circulating on the web as a satirical take on Hello Kitty. Since it is a satire of Hello Kitty, I would not consider it a copyright violation of the original Sanrio picture. Also, since the trooper image has been floating around on the web for a while, I would consider it okay to post it here. If, however, you are the creator of the trooper image and you don't want it posted here, please let me know, and I will remove it.
